Murroe v Newport, 2.15, S Rooney
Rumour has it Moyross B kicked out of league. Incidents during their game vs Ballylanders. If this is the case all teams yet to play them will be awarded 3 points as far as i know.
It is confirmed. Moyross is out. Apparently they lost the rag at Ballylanders and came out swinging. All teams yet to play them get the 3 points.
Coonagh the big losers here. They played them only two weeks ago and drew, now all the other teams (barr ballylanders) are going to get three points without having to step onto the pitch. It's a pity cause Moyross where one of the better teams in this division and capable of taking points off everyone.
I thought the rule was if they had a C team they have to fulfill the the B teams fxtures Or is it different if a team is actually kicked out rather than pull themselves out?
Agree with everything you said above, played them two weeks ago and not one single incident from on the pitch or the sidelines, the only problem is they were in a good position in the league and as such in a good position to take points off the top teams like they did to us, but now we are the only losers here cause the other teams will be given three points:angry2:
All teams awarded the 6 points. So that means Coonagh get an extra 2pts while Shannon get 6pts, Lisnagry 3pts, Newport 3pts, Ballylanders get 2pts, Parkville 6pts, Northside 5pts, and the rest 6pts.
Puts Shannon back within 1 point of Lisnagry. Lisnagry have 1 game in hand and Coonagh have 2 games in hand.

Murroe v Newport, 2.15, S Rooney
Coonagh v Parkville off pitch frozen,
Half way through the season and things panning out in this division, at this stage it looks good for Lisnagry who are probably the strongest team in this division but second spot is going to be interesting, bewteen shannon, newport, ballylanders and coonagh. Shannon hold second spot at the moment but with other teams having games in hand and everyone to play each other again it should be very close. this is a strong division this year with players dropping a few divisions to play in 3b and Coonagh hopping to add four to five new signings, Newport have added a few A players, shannon a strong side and ballylanders have all their footallers at the moment makes for a great finish to the season. Good luck to all teams and have a good Christmas and see ye all next year

Meanus v Northside, 11.00, P O’Brien
Shelbourne v Shannon Town, 2.15, J Curran
Parkville v Ballylanders, 2.15, T Mannion
As it stands it looks like Lisnagry vs Coonagh has been switched to Coonagh.
Match has been switched back to Lisnagry and left for the ref on the day to decide if it will go ahead.
lisnagry 10 coonagh 1 blown up with 5 or ten to go
Ya 10-1 to Lisnagry.
No Coonagh weren't missing any players. Was only 4 minutes to go when blown up cause i had it timed but Coonagh where well beaten. Never at the races today. Second to every ball and a lot of players doing silly things they never would and making silly mistakes they normally wouldn't. Lisnagry are the best team in the league.
What happened was the coonagh keeper got injured with three minutes to go and the ref said the match was over as soon as they centered off. Coonagh were terrible this morning after most the team were at a 21st last night, and it really showed but at the end of the day its three points dropped to the future league winners, and plenty of points to play for.
I'm not here to slag off Coonagh as I'm a former player (and hopefully future one too) but there were plenty of times we went out for 21sts/other random things the night before and we never got hockeyed THAT badly, so best thing is for ye to have a game next weekend and get it out of the system, onwards and upwards hopefully :D
well if you get home at seven in the morning it does not help, not making excuses either cause Lisnagry are good enough for a higher division were outstanding this morning, this is a new and very young Coonagh team who have to learn what is expected of them and they sit in a good position in the league
unfortunately for Coonagh they have now gone from having 10 goals against to 20 against in one week. Quite a price to pay for a night out. They did look a reasonable side at the start of the league but with 22 games in the season, it all comes down to consistency and desire to win. I reakon Lisnagry could have that desire and will be hard to beat coming up to the business end now.
Shels 0 - 2 Shannon Town.
Lisnagry fairly have the league walked alright....few teams playing for promotion I reckon though!
These lads have gone out on nights out a few times and put in performances. Just wasn't their day today and very harsh to critise them for what I'd consider a once off. Can't remember those lads every getting a beating like that. End of the day 1-0 or 10-1, it's only three points and up to the team to pick themselves up and move
The one-sided score-line might have been a once-off, but the poor attitude towards matches is something that's dogged the squad for a long time. A lot of those players had the exact same approach to games when they were still playing their home games at the Greenhills. Going out and getting hammered the night before a match is a tradition that's followed a large part of the Coonagh squad since their earlier years at Caherdavin, and it's sad to see it still holding them back now.
The talent in that squad is phenomenal. The preparation for match days is not.
