I would be happy with a boring one nil victory, Summerville is always a hard place to get a result out off. :o
3 points no matter how they are achieved is good. there seems to be a good few teams in this division that are supposed to be handy.

Summerville were 1-0 down for most of the match. They equalised with 10 mins to go then went 2-1 up with 5 mins left on the clock.
Knockainey with a minute left took a 25 yard strike but the Summerville keeper pulled off a magnificent save.
Summerville were very lucky to get a win. Knockainey defense was poor and their keeper was very unsteady with any ball that came his way. Their forwards played some great football on the ground.
I'd imagine they'll be strong contenders to win the league.

Result Sunday 7th September
Knockainey B 4-1 Murroe B
By the looks of the weather alot of matches are going to be off this again weekend. Especially Caherdavin "B" vs Annacotty "C" as Caherdavin "A" have an FAI Junior Cup match the night before at the greenhills, the pitch will probably be unplayable by sunday morning :(
Caherdavin B 2 Aisling 1
good win for caherdavin after going one behind on a very heavy pitch.
Killmallock 1-0 Cappamore
i see there is no refs down for the matches in this division for sunday ,anyone know why its only 3B that dont have them
Cappamore 1 Caherdavin 0
Every team will drop points in the course of season, so why do you think i would be happy with Kilmallock/Caherdavin been beaten? If Prospect go unbeaten then they will be worthy champions.
Does anybody know why there is no games in our league this weekend? it will be our third weekend without a game
Ya same as ourselves. We will have gone a month without a game (thats if we have one the following weekend) And to make it worse it will probably be the nicest Weekend this side of the New Year. Next week we will have a match and it will be a strom or something:mad:
take the 92 (i think) Junior teams plus 37 youth and minor, that makes around 130 teams , 65 games to be played on a sunday if you want everyone to play..... you see the problem too many teams not enough referees its fact and not much can be done about it this season :)
agreed that there just isn't enough referees but why do the lower division teams always have to suffer by going weeks and weeks without games. It's very hard to get a run together and to keep players interested in training when they might not have a match for 2 or 3 weeks at a time.
