Apologies for the delay in replying, but as you know, I've been banned for a week. Thanks for the links. Well the later ones anyway. Typing in Google as suggested just kept giving me articles about Landis, which I doubt was your intention. Anyway, they do, as you rightly suggest, do nothing to back up your blanket argument. Taking this logic, God help Ireland if it ever gets another gold medal at the olympics. With 100% of its medalists from the past decade involved in some sort of drugs scandal, no doubt we should always feel that whoever came second was the true winner.

Landis's father committed suicide several days back, shot himself in the head, guess it all got to him, was 57 yrs old.

yeah
it was a feckin great tour.
couple of class mountain stages. open race. no real favourites.
very good. only thing was TG4 live commentry sounded like(and in fairness probably was) it was coming from a broomcupboard in galway.I dont expect them to fork out to send guys there but did they have to turn crowd noise down totally.
