What events??? You have yet to tell me what happened on your scary trip, other than that "Hundreds" of supporters safety was in jeopardy, which is balls.Quote:

Earlier in the season Nutsy wanted clubs fined for having bad pitches yet nowadays when Tolka park looks like Suvla Bay circa 1915 (as usual, I might add) it is still other clubs that need to "take a look at themselves" except the point of obsession/paranoia has moved on smwhere else.
And as for the Judas on the pitch, phone calls etc. It's well OTT but it's very funny and all part of the rich pagent of Eircom League football. The Judai had the last laugh that time (instead of the complete bottling-out they did in Dalymount) but I hear a story that Honker and Ugly were driving around Drumcondra after the match screaming at Bohs fans and giving the fingers out the windows. Very professional.
NOT
(I think we might have upset them.)
Oh BTW.
1) I wasn't in the Brandywell at the time in question but,I have heard the rock throwing incident mentioned before by Bohs fans.
2)I have figured out who BohsFan is, and I can vouch he is 100% Bohs and not a wind up from another club.
3) I have seen the stewards in the Brandywell roughing up a youngfellah for lighting a flare which I though was out of order. But I have never had any trouble myself up there.
As somone who works with autistic Children I find that very offensive and shall end my conversation with you Idiot with one last remark.Quote:

There's nothing wrong with the playing surfacen in Tolka this year bar for the Glentoran game when it was a disgrace alright
Krstic, you've done the right thing,The amount of times i've heard people use special needs children or references to special needs children on these boards as a derogatory remark is shameful :mad:Quote:

I was in Derry at the game BohsFan is talking about (who, btw, I don't know). It was about 10 years ago and was one of the Cup-semis. I seem to remember it being mid-week although I may be wrong. Bohs did have huge support there and we were in the small corner opposite the nicer stand.
Something made of glass, I think even a couple, were thrown over the wall from outside and smashed off the wall all over the Bohs fans.
It was very unpleasant not to mention very dangerous and I don't remember too much being done to catch those responsible.
However, I don't class those who did it as Derry fans and in my experience they have always treated us very well in Derry - even if I've never seen Bohs win there :( .
That was the only incident of note I can remember from all my times up there and Derry, unlike other places, is a ground where you can mix among the home fans and nothing untoward will happen.
In short, yes, I had a bad experience at that game in Derry. Do I still have a lot of time and respect for real Derry fans? Of course.
Let's close the book on this one please, it was 10 years ago!
Krstic and Bohsfan, stop ye're stupid little bickering. Take it to PM or something or I'll have to lock the thread.
As for all the stuff the Bohs fans did in the build up to the Shels game. Brilliant. I most certainly approve!
It was probably to make the people who did it look like the clowns they are, and more so, so that we would have the pleasure of watching said judas slam in the winner on the spot.Quote:

BTW I find your turn of phrase very interesting for a Dub. Use of the words "peelers" and "wee", a fondness for Linfield.................. :D
That wasn't me who posted that, it was BohsFan :mad:Quote:

Bohsfan - you seem to have a serious issue with answering a question. Training for a career as a TD or something...?Quote:

I'll also ignore your pathetic attempt to bring Harps into it with unspecified remarks about all the things that have happened to them (Harps fans on here can testify that of the c.30 meetings our teams have had over the years at the Brandywell, nothing of any great substance has occured).
Regardless of the above - the alleged incident that you mentioned supposedly involved people OUTSIDE the Brandywell throwing stuff in during a game. I've put the word 'outside' in capital letters to help you here. If the perpetrators of this alleged incident were DCFC fans, or were in any way associated with the club, surely they would have been inside the ground during a match...? Or has your bitterness towards the club and the city clouded what little common sense you appear to possess...?
And what exactly do you suggest Derry City stewards - who's responsibility is to look after security WITHIN the ground - should do about a minor event that happens OUTSIDE the ground DURING a game ? Desert their posts to investigate in an area where they have no jurisdiction or control - thereby neglecting their stated duty towards the safety of the fans INSIDE the stadium ?? Also - It may surprise you to learn BohsFan, but the PSNI *do* POLICE the Brandywell as an area, and can often be seen in the area - even in the height of the troubles. They just don't police the stadium itself on matchday. So I suggest you direct your queries/complaints re a catastrophic public order event that put literally hundreds of people at risk in an unspecified year over a decade ago to :
Chief Inspector George Brien
Foyle District Command Unit
Police Service of Northern Ireland
81A Strand Road
Derry/Londonderry (take your pick...)
BT48 7AA
I'll help you with writing the letter if you manage to break all your crayons again.
Eyes down for some more question dodging and a side-splittingly witty response. I'm literally shuffling to the edge of my seat as I type...
While I ain't a fan of Derry I'm going to sort of stick up for them here.
While I dont like tham for 2 reasons (1. supporting their club when kicking another club when theyre down which nearly resulted in us being kicked out of the league (and we were never in a worse state then rovers or others were - 100k is all it cost to sort us out) 2. the 'best supporters' in the world stuff)
However one thing I will say is that they are probably one of the best behaved in the country. We've never had any bother with them in drogheda. I actually remember a couple of years ago in our club bar at half time, the place was packed with derry and drogs at half time and a few drunkan drogs started singing 'whats it like to have a queen' etc, i thought its all going to kick off now, but instead the derry fans just walked away back to the terrace).
Also going up to derry - i never go to the oak place, usually go to the bar nearest to the entrance (think its the brandywell bar??) and never a hint of bother there.
As regards Kennys comments, every club has their morons so I wouldnt read anything into it (though that it was very sad that a derry fan asked for the thread to be moved to the derry section  )
Obviously I cant forgive what happened in the past, but I dont think its fair to be labelling derry fans as being 'bad behaved' ( in a physical sense ;) )
But the RUC/PSNI do police outside Brandywell stadium.Quote:

So your point is as invalid as your supposed support for Bohs :p

What powers do Derry City have to stop incidents occuring OUTSIDE Brandywell Stadium???
Your supposed Frightening incident was the result of a Bottle(s) being thrown IN to the Stadium from OUTSIDE (where the RUC/PSNI are responsible for and DO police)
Give us a wee answer this time mouthpiece :ball:
How often are you in the Brandywell area??Quote:
