hey listen up laddie no one stated pike were the only team in town paying players and as a matter of fact i have great respect for pike rovers being a former player.im not slating the club or any other club its just a known fact all over limerick that players get paid.so dont take it to heart people are entitled to comment on it.
Heard over the weekend that there could be a couple of Pike players off to Fairview before the transfer deadline. Heard this from a View man and its understandable considering all their new arrivals.
i'm from clonmel but i just want to ask some opinions (not cause an arguement) but who is the stronger side this season in limerick pike or fairview? i heard fairview have resigned the likes of ross cosgrave and colm heffernan and buckley and have 3 or 4 left from those fai winning teams from a few years back.
if he played sunday he'd be cup tied in the FAI now, but would be a good signing for fairview. Can't see pike leaving him go easily. Good keepers are a rare thing these days. Why would stewart go back to pike doesn't make sense and I would doubt if its true, they've 5 center forwards up there now.
i hear mark sheehan didnt cup tie himself in the fai is this true?
pike didnt ask frankie why would they with the forwards they have? as for sheehan mc,garry is better
frankie hasnt a hope of getting on pike tried last year and failed plus fell out with conny wouldnt say conny even asked him :D:D:D
love to see him sign ok only to stop pike scoring cant score for them
Bit late really 6 games in he's already settled for left back it appears..

IMO, the Prem league is split into 3 mini leagues.
The top 5 (Anyone from Pike, Balla, View, Regional or Aisling could win the league)
The middle 2 (Boro & Wembley, wont win the league but wont get relegated)
The bottom 5 (Corbally, Dromore, Kilmallock, Carew & Granville all fighting relegation)
The only thing that will save Carew this season, is that there are at least 2 worse teams than them, below them.
corbally aint that bad, had 4 tough games to start the season and in fairness they gave aisling and balla decent games, judge them on when they play the teams around them!! but def agree that they'll struggle if they dont start to score goals. carew seem to be fallin apart, did they lose players back to hill celtic?
your dead right on the 3 tiers to the league, it makes it interesting if nothing else!!!
Corbally have played Balla, Pike, Aishling and the Boro and have yet to play any of the surrounding teams at the bottom. We'll see what happens when they play the Dromore, Kilmallock and Carews of this league. There's the staying up right there.
True ya, star were in that group last year:p
the games between the bottom 5 mentioned will obviously decide who stays up or goes down. I think teams will find it hard out in Kilmallock which will see them get enough points to survive, Carew still have enough good players to be safe.
