Is there many Cabinteely fans following the club now or has that connections been erased?

Cabinteely didn’t have any proper fans themselves when they were in the league, mostly players families and a few interested local kids. I’d be surprised if many or any of those go to Bray games now but if they do it wouldn’t be noticeable at all in Bray’s crowd figures

That was a poor home attendance in Turners X last night.2 500 or so and 700 Bohs fans.
Usually no mistaking that there's a match on from Barrack Street going east and from the City Centre, but very quiet last night.
That 25 euro entrance is killing them.

I’m sure the €25 is part of the problem but Cork traditionally have had big swings in their support, depending on how well the team is doing.

I think this is the part of the season that we generally see a dip in attendances. I only saw Dundalk’s one from last night and that was just over 1500. Probably lower than their regular crowds.

1,587 at Dundalk v UCD last night, i think that was the lowest of the season. A bit disappointing as it was a fine evening in the end, very limited away support though, maybe 10?

It's incredible how Cork City thought E25 was a good idea for their return to PD, madness in my view, and to borrow the line from championship clubs in England, 'twenty is plenty' (different currency accepted), but 25 euro is too expensive, end of.

For Dundalk, almost seems a staleness at the moment, just hard to get excited about the FD and very limited away support and fans picking and choosing is adding to modest crowds, started off with 2,600 now a few around 1,600, avg probably dropping below 2k. Just under 1,600 last night v UCD.

Not sure what solution is, oh yeah, promotion !

Promotion and product! Watching the current product is just a duty not enjoyment. A winning side too but its a grind to watch never mind get to games in mixed weather etc.

In regards Cork City fc the owner had more faith in the squad than they deserved.

The owner wanted to increase the price of tickets as he was not prepared to loose a million a year like owners other clubs.

There is 5 match packs for €100. But one off tickets are €25.

While ticket prices have increased the quality hasn't. Ticket prices are in par with Munster Rugby and Cork Gaa without the same quality.

Agree fully with this, shocking to admit but no point lying, for the Kerry home game last month, a good few of us missed both goals, watched them 'live' in the upstairs bar on LOiTV and only came out for the last 20. Not a huge appeal this season, the football and FD in particular is poor, hopefully a one season only stint.

I feel a "you were lucky" coming on, what we'd give to have a side winning games and competing for promotion! Hoping for last minute equalisers so were not cut adrfit at the bottom.

3215 was the attendance at Cork City v Bohemians from article in yesterday's Independent. Good piece about Dermot Usher, the ticket prices and Cork's problems this season.

100%. As soon as the sun comes out in Limerick they flock to Kilkee and Ballybunion.

Who needs a new stadium that keeps the rain off when people flock to games in the open wind swept grounds in the rain and abandon LoI when its sunny and warm. Makes no sense to me as there is nothing better than being at a game basking in the sun, European game feel, - closely followed by a crisp frosty night wrapped up under the floodlights and heading in to the club lounge to thaw out after!
