Why wasn't the angel in all this - Bobby Gregg sent off??
After all he did punch john o dwyer off the ball and seemed well able to jump in studs first throughout the game...
It was a fine game between two very good sides.. Aisling took their chances - ye didn't. Get on with it - starting with the Pikey's on thursday nite

like wenger says...i did not see this,i was looking at something else...;)but rest assured we'll be having a word with Bobby,Janesboro don't condone that type of behaviour and it will not go unpunished:rolleyes:
Bobby has always had that streak in him its just a part of his game he's a nice little player just needs to calm down a bit. Will Stephen Grant be available thursday Oscar?
AFAIK he won't be,automatic 1 match ban for a sending off
2 yellows is 1 automatic match 30 euro fine and a week suspention that is what tommy hef on the first day of the season
for me the most loyal players in town would have to be colm enright and albert slattery, and in fairness most of the balla stalwarts e.g colla, daly, dunphy and spud.
theres a lot of boro players unhappy with daithi since he took over a few more will be leaving with o neill
The pressure is always on managers of the so called top teams when their respective teams don't begin the season well.Alan Barry,Alan Carroll,Nicky Carroll and Ado FitzSimmons would be big losses to any team. The team that won the league 2 years ago seems to be decimated now so it's understandable that Daithi will have things tough at the moment.
Balla seem to have a good start to the season.Have they signed any new players??
The usual crap from people not in the know. Christy O'Neill went back to the dines because of changes in his personal circumstances. I spoke to the player and he explained that he loved playing with the boro but that he would be unable to put the effort in that he thought would be required and that it would be unfair on the other players if he couldn'y give the same. Wish him well,a good bloke and hopefully he will enjoys his football back with the dines..A.Fitz is injured and hopefully will be back playing soon.N.Carroll informed the manager that he is off to Aus in a few weeks, A.Carroll went to Aus 2 weeks ago. Club Cant fault the teams and staff's efforts so far and with a little bit of luck results will improve.
D.Glasheen,T.Clarke,S.Clarke,D.fitz,P.o'Donoghue,C .Lynch
have alll come through the ranks with the boro.
First 3 boys left for 2 yers to play youth football with wembly, played all of their other ball with boro. D.Fitz played some schoolboy with pike but is now in his 11 season in a row with club. C.Lynch bar 2 seasons at junior level , has played with club sine he was 8.. wont gve his present age..!!!!

The boro used to have a fanhtastic underage and youth set up, a lot of good players in recent times have come through!
whats the story with yer underage and youth set up these days leather?, with the top facilities and club set up down there i dont think there'd be many clubs around to match ye
