I think this has been given enough airtime as it belongs in the kids football section and has nothing to do with Junior football so either post it there or take it to PM.

any predictions for saints/ clonmel celtic game sunday
saints 2-1
saints are missing a good few themselves, celtic on pen's i think.
I passed celtics ground during the week and the pitch looked in great condition. it must be absolutly destroyed now didnt think any games would go ahead in that weather. any other results from tipp cup today ?
Looks like Mullinahone have pulled out of Div 4. What will be the repurcussions for them?
Jesus that is Mullinahone's 3rd time in the last 5 years that they have failed to finish a season. I would say that if they come back looking to re-join next season they will be turned down. It is not fair on the other rural teams that are also struggling to field teams most Sundays. I think this will not be the last withdrawal of the season.
mullinahone is a big enough place its a pity the interest aint there. there pitch is fairly decent too so its a waste. I agree with west hammer about rural teams hanging in there by a thread the village teams from div 1-4 have very scarce squads so it can easily go pear shaped if results start going against a team and lads loose interest. hopefully though there will be no more withdrawals from league though
Oscar Traynor result to-night Cork AUL 0, Munster Senior league 2. An excellent result for the TSDL. One group game remains, TSDL at home to Cork AUL. TSDL can afford to lose by two goals and still go through to the knock-out stages. That 4-1 win against the Munster Senior league was so crucial for goal difference.
they have a small bit of an underage system aswell so there will still be some form of football going on in mullinahone at least. would be a shame to have another rock rovers scenario, its shocking driving past there pitch on the way into carrick and seeing what was once one of the best set ups in the tsdl now a grazing field for ponies and horses
The fact that one man on his own was trying to run the club ultimately is what done for Rock Rovers.
Its a real pity, they gave an outlet for fella's to play football in Tipperary. The remaining players are now spread between Carrick and Piltown.
The grounds in it's current state is hard to look at.
rock rovers had some great youth and junior teams down the years. They had a brilliant youths team back in i think 2003 won the tipp youth league div 1 that year. Can remeber a young 15 year old michael coady back then just coming on the scene. They had a great junior team in 2007 when they won the division 1 league all good young footballers eg butlers, spudy, wayne cullen and had great experience in that team at the back and in center midfield. some bad eggs gave there junior team a bad name towards the end with ildisipline but i actually found them to be ok lads overall and eugene the lad who managed them was a gent. The lads are right passing the pitch is pretty disturbing when you think of some of the terrible pitches still being used in tsdl and one of the best now just abondoned. if memory serves me correct there was an astro turf and a bit of a stand (shed with roof) in the rock rovers ground. did another club pick up these or what happened them?
Everything there was sold the astro went to a GAA club up the country and all Metals were sold aswell.
lads i think if they erected a statue of eugene at the site of where the pitch is now or somewhere in carrick it would not be an over exageration. LEGEND!!
i see a kent scored for peake last week. is that noel kent who played with kilkenny city a few years back?? think he scored a few goals at loi div 1 level so should be a good signing. who was he playin for since??
Does anyone know the rules of calling off a game in such short notice? Is it an FAI rule for all or just one that 'Cesaer' makes up along the way, like many others..information would be appreciated on this subject. Or does the rule depend on the club?
who is caesar rushy? i wud love to see a copy of the tsdl rulebook

any predictions for the above games lads,
also massive game in Division 1 with top 2 teams Oldbridge and moyglass meeting, you would fancy oldbridge to win that with home advantage
Cahir 0-0 Two Mile Borris
good aul match with borris playing about 80min of it with 10 men due to 2 very harsh yellow cards from the referee, harsh as your gonna see anywhere. But borris fought well with ten men and could have been up at half time only for last ditch defendin and good saves from the cahir keeper.
second half was all about cahir attackin but never looked like scorin, if the game went on for another hour, i dont think they would have scorin, borris seemed inspired so get a point, and a vital point is was. the back 4 for borris were outstanding with the keeper pulling off a few top drawer saves, reminded me of schmicheal at times.
As a famous treaty man said after the game, "twas the result of the century", a slight exageration maybe but who knows, if borris keep battling like they did today, it could be.
Ps, cahir club house, first time iv seen it, savage and fair play to them.
saints won 1-0. meant to have been a serious battle and cullen said to have been unlucky not to take it to extra time going by match report on saints website
What are the conditions for promotion and relegation between the divisions? Im not very familiar with the junior league.
michaels v nenagh town
town v celtic
FAI draws
Do you have the rest of the draw for Tipperary North, TSDL & WWEC??
Anyone got the full draw?
if saints drew nenagh and clonmel town drew celtic, there is gonna be some fierce weak teams going into the open round draw from tipp section. were losing 2 of our best teams in the 4th round disaster
lads i think its fair to say town v celtic and nenagh v saints are games of last 16 or quar final standard of entire competition and the clubs records in previous years wil back that up. does anyone think both games should be played on different days eg, sat and sun surely there will be bumper crowds attending both particularly from south tipp. any thoughts??
i think the real issue here is guys workin on a saturday and also youth matches, town have a few youths involved on saturdays i know for defo so that would be out for them, crowds just dont go to games anymore like they used to
thats a fair point pity though would have been great to get the 2 games in they both should be good.
And then they come a cropper, first round in limerick was pike and the boro and that would have been worthy of the final itself, that's cup football, and pike and fairview the year before in first round, another 2 worthy finalists,
and your point is??
Heineken please, you reckon the 4 teams that are playing each other would be worthy of last 8 or 16,well I'm telling you the first round in limerick this year between pike and boro would have been a worthy final and if you mean coming a cropper, they always do don't they???
is that how ye spell in there :) yeah and if im correct the boro v pike game was switched to afternoon so people could get to see it i myt b wrong??
Just to let you know I got banned for text speak,be careful, and as for the spelling you have me there?ya it was fixed in afternoon.
