If you have 8 spare tickets, and increasing the price by 30e, i figure you may be gaining from it. And asking is it against the law is just silly.Quote:

If this seller is seeking €115 on what he claims he spent €85 and he has 8 available he stands to profit €240. Now an envelope from Israel next day delivey costs no more than €35, so that knocks his FedEx claim.
Finally The Israeli FA will not accept tickets back as they didn't sell them. I was in contact with the agency trying to source tickets for some ppl here who were seeking them but to no avial.
The person i spoke to told me they sold lots of tickets but didn't expect the number of ppl travelling to match the sales. He indicated that I would easily find Isreali's offloading tickets above face value as it was perceived as very expensive for them to travel to Ireland for the game.
He also told me that most of those buying tickets were members of the IDF who are paid very little during their time in the military and many would see this opportunity of making money to pay for their trips.
I expect ppl will be able to source tickets at face value early next week from more reliable sources ;)
If you have the tickets in your hand you will note that their re-sale above face value is not permitted and if you think you are doing a service, think again. Real football fans don't scalp other fans - EVERQuote:

I'd love to get tickets for one of the home games, but it seens impossible these days. Its very unfair the way they block book the tickets.
What do you suggest?Quote:

Anyone thinkin of resorting to giving money to these fools...please hold off.... It looks like tickets will become availiable on here at face value if ye just hold on....Also it may not be a bad idea to ring the FAI tomorow. I heard that they might have a few arriving to back them that will go on sale.
I was holding out to hear from a few contacts to see if i got a ticket before I posted a message on this site. I am travelling in on Friday with my son (6) and I want to bring him to his first Irish game. As a father living in the UK its important to me that he grows up knowing his Irish background and that he supports the right team. So if anybody has three or less spare tickets ( I have a brother coming in from Bermuda also) then I would appreciate a help. I am not a regular poster to the site - but I am a real Irish fan.
I know this place gets hounded with these type of messages before games, but if anyone has a ticket for the Israel game on sat, please let me know.
Im on a bad run lately, havent got to the last few competitive games and dont fancy waiting outside the stadium like the last few. So any help is appreciated, cheers
It used to be much easier to get tickets a few years ago, was surprised the Israelis took up all of their allocation.
Last time I emailed the fai about the block booking scheme, they more or less told me it was too long so dont bother. Are they actually putting names on the list now?
Join the Q and no pushing at the back ;)
Yep, just got put on the list about a week ago. Said there was 1,100 ahead so I'll be waiting a while. Get on it!
A long shot but if anyone comes across tickets for Saturday sure would appreciate 2.
Thanks
2 spares for the Faroes also face value. trying to help out Seanieboy as the guy who was gonna take them instead of me has fallen through.
I managed to come across a ticket yesterday at face value. Don't give into the touts people.
If ya dont mind be asking-how?Quote:
