i hear that ballina town b have pulled out of div 2, its a pity did'nt realise that they were stuggling to field. also heard that castlebar town have pulled out of div 3 what do lads make of it?:confused:

Charlestown 2 Cross 0, tough game, very heavy pitch, Charlestown v strong. Cross had chances but didn't take them, made 2 mistakes and got well punished.

would be fair to say charlestown will be there abouts for promotion at the end of the season. cross are a tough team to beat so that result stands out more than the others.:ball:
Ill have to change my mind about Ballina Town B getting promoted. dint see them pulling out of the league as i thought they had a decent team. Might be good for there Super league team this year. might be worth a few pounds.
Ill go for Boro B and Glenisland to go up, with Cross a close third. Teams around the county benefited this weekend with no GAA on so its hard to judge results this weekend

Yes. I was on the side line and heard Conlon say he would report them. He was directing supporters to stay outside the fencing and was met with a barage of abuse. Reports must not work as im sure theres one sent in every other game down there !Quote:

That referee is quite new to the league and mighnt have the authority for a setting like Ballina Utd home games.
im not saying hes a bad referee, just that he is not as imposing as some of the more experienced referees
he isn't that new to the league. i can remember him reffing for a good while (maybe not as long as some of the rest). don't think he is a great ref though and have to agree that he wouldn't have the presence of other refs in the league. that is still no exscuse for ballina to behave the way they did though and should be punished for that carry on!Quote:
