I don't think it's a WUM; at best it's badly phrased. The entire post makes it quite clear what happened though.
For clarity, I've changed the title to "wrecked", but I don't see the need for histrionics about it one way or the other.

Yep I thought, Revenue, Gardaí or NAMA too. Probably says a lot about the current economic situation that we seem to associate the word raid with such activities.
Offices broken into or vandalised would be a more appropriate title. I'm not sure it was a deliberate wind up though.
"Vandalised" wins. Let's get back on topic so.
Can we change the title again please, as the new one is clearly also a WUM.
I thought it meant that a Germanic tribe had attacked the premises on their way through from ancient Rome.....
Very good!
Thanks for the change, it's a rotten situation when your premises have been broken into, I just went through it and christ I'd love to get hold of the scum who did it! I was thinking though, surely there is cctv there and the crim's were picked up on it.
ALternatively I was thinking it could be an inside job - maybe the Indo will do some research into the insurance details of the FAI in relation to the FAI Cup - maybe it's valued at 74.5million, therefore JD was right when he said "I'd write a cheque in the morning", he'd even have change for a new set of blazers!
Is there any indication whether this was local GAA heads, the window-breaking element of another LoI fanbase, or anything else more specific than German barbarians?
That didn't help his wife, but you're probably safe - he's currently two years into a nine year jail sentence.
"Whom" isn't just a fancier way of writing who, you know.
