It was a big pay day for them.

I deliberately didn't put that in because the point of this thread initially was that The Star was nonsense and some of their attendances are so wildly inaccurate (both ways) that there's no point putting them in.
I actually went with 2500 as suggested by Pete, but Pat's still seem to sporadically release official attendances, so hopefully we'll get it sooner or later.
I think 3/4 full is a bit high for the stand. I would have thought more than 500 for the Camac though. I was down the shed end of it and while there was loads of room in the first half, it filled up a good bit in the second half when Pats were attacking that end. I would have guessed 700 maybe.
Wexford Youths Home Attendences from Official Site...(missing Longford and both League Cup Ties)
Waterford Utd - 2000
Kildare - 1345
Shels - 1202
Athlone - 820
Average Attendence: 1,341 for those 4 games....
Guesstimates for the Longford game would be 600 and approx 250 on Monday for the League Cup game
Approximately 2500 at Dundalk vs. Shelbourne.
Never that many at Shels v Dundalk....
Rubbish.
There were about 200 of us? Ridiculous to say that there were 2300 Dundalk fans there
Someone texted me from the match saying there were 800 at it!
I dunno what he was drinking that made him see half rather than double but I thought it sounded way too small!
There wasn't 2,500 at it anyway. Wage cap and all that.
For the Limerick v Shels game I was on the opposite side of the ground to the main stand. Shortly before half time I gave a rough count of those in the main stand and got just over 100. I don't really care what the figure was but I know a big laugh went up as it was read out,, followed by loads of people shaking their heads.
On the Dundalk Shels gate I would have thought 1500 to 2000 max!
Judging the crowd in oriel from the away end can be difficult. For a start you cant see into the stand which holds 1,300, Im told it was 3/4 full last night, the shed side usually gets around 800, and im guessing the away support was around 200, so maybe 2,000 is a more accurate figure ?
Anyway great win for shels, shocking result for us.
3,461 for City-Sligo.
900 announced on the radio for Wateford v Wexford.
900!! not even close! try 1800! main stand about 700 new stand about 1100 would be my guess!! great crowd definately not 900 thats pathetically wrong! pictures will be up anywayz soon! seen alot of people with cams so ye shall see :)
1276 official attendance at GUFC V. Harps.
There was definitely 1200 at the Wexford/Waterford game tonight. Someone in the main stand was recording the game as well. I was in the new stand with all the Waterford fans, our fans did us proud in the main stand.
1700 it holds! hmm I dunno how empty it was but a youths fan in the main stand estimated 1100 to me :p
Would guess at 1500 for Pat's - UCD tonight.
1,301 Shamrock Rovers - Derry
Looked like no more than 900 at Galway Harps game, but official figure 1276. About 70 harps fans.
Good crowd last night, i would say about 1800 at it with about 500 or even more drogheda fans. 5wins on the trott and unbeaten in 7, its looking good.
defo a peno as well, worst decision ever.
Cant' remember the exact figure but there was something like 460 at Limerick-Monaghan last night. It was annonuced at half-time.
Yeah, as I said 2000 max.
I was in the stand for the game. 3/4 full ? maybe but there didn't look to be 800 on the far side.
Anyway, who cares ,,, we won 3-1 :)
An 8 point lead for you would have been too much to claw back I felt,, lets see now how you react to that defeat!
