In fairness it would be a good move for him and Ireland. He might get some good service from the likes of Reid as opposed to the scraps he had to feed off last season.
That's been doing the rounds since the start of the summer. With Jones out until late September/October I reckon it's just a case of tabloids putting 2 and 2 together and coming up with a space filler. Keane's already signed Diouf, and has Murphy, Chopra, Prica, O'Donovan, Connolly and Stokes on the books. He doesn't need another striker.Quote:

It's not about quantity, it's about quality. Doyle has had more success than any of Sunderland's current strikers. Obviously he had a poor season last year, but I think he'd walk into the starting lineup at Sunderland, and those are the players Roy is looking for.Quote:
