Why is called the league cup when non league clubs are in it? at least a few years ago it had a league in the group stages. I think they would be better getting rid of the league cup altogether and expanding the sentanta cup because the way its going no one really takes either cup to seriously.

I like it. Its another chance to play teams you may not play through the league season and to try out other players. At the end of the day its another game (or games) of live football to go watch which is great and there is always a good chance of a first division team having a day out at a final. Wexford, Monaghan and Waterford all recently. Its never a big deal to be knocked out of it but its nice to do well in a cup also.Quote:
