They're only a week behind the herald with this story. The cops could save themselves huge manpower and money by deploying a handful of Derry stewards instead

Old news. Guardian had it weeks ago.
The gardai have little to boast about here. By contrast, the PSNI haven't gone trying to blacken the club's name: they simply did their job, caught actual culprits, brought them to court, secured convictions, made them cry like babies and in the process did BFC one mightily big favour. All in a couple of day's work, and with a hell of a lot less overtime.
