I'm at a loss to understand why this 'story' was carried today by the Tribune. It has no relevance to any recent or forthcoming match, and the plod makes himself sound like something from Kilnaskully.

Old news. Guardian had it weeks ago.
The gardai have little to boast about here. By contrast, the PSNI haven't gone trying to blacken the club's name: they simply did their job, caught actual culprits, brought them to court, secured convictions, made them cry like babies and in the process did BFC one mightily big favour. All in a couple of day's work, and with a hell of a lot less overtime.

If I was this Garda I wouldnt go boasting about the fact that it takes this level of resource to do a relatively small job.Shows them up for the incompetents they are really!
