As someone who's seen this creep into all levels at the game, even at U-17 level, it's about fcuking time.
Apparently FIFA aren't happy and are looking to block them. Read it on teletext last night.
If I remember correctly it involved concerns about retrospective/after the fact punishments for non-dicipline/violent conduct issues ultimately undermining the authority of the referee.
I can see it from both sides but I believe it's an experiment well worthy of being tried somewhere in professional football and if the scots are willing to give it a go then fair play to them.
