For the city of culture year why dont city organise a foootball tornament? All the clubs city have met in european competition could be invited. That would make some tournament!
Think of it Bayern, Galatasary, Cwmbran, Torpedo Moscow, Barcelona etc

i mean invite everyone weve played, (thats why i have included Barca - my psychic powers have forseen city winning the inter-toto cup and meeting them in the uefa ):cool: have two groups, winners playing in a final.

Galatasary, AFAIK, provided the opposition in the last European Cup game ever played in Bishopstown.
Come to think of it, the Bayern game was in Musgrave Park.
