City of Culture

For the city of culture year why dont city organise a foootball tornament? All the clubs city have met in european competition could be invited. That would make some tournament!

Think of it Bayern, Galatasary, Cwmbran, Torpedo Moscow, Barcelona etc

what do people think?

i mean invite everyone weve played, (thats why i have included Barca - my psychic powers have forseen city winning the inter-toto cup and meeting them in the uefa )

have two groups, winners playing in a final.

Barcelona are the only team from that lot we haven't played.
Galatasary, AFAIK, provided the opposition in the last European Cup game ever played in Bishopstown.
Come to think of it, the Bayern game was in Musgrave Park.
Man the X has missed out on some big games.
We need to put that right.
When is the draw for the UEFA Fair Play places?

hopefully we'll knock them out of the inter-toto- I wouldn't like to see Barca finishing high enough in La Liga to get into the UEFA Cup!
