    Alright

    I am off to Ballinskellig for a week to stay in a mates house, has anyone any good recommendations for good things to visit and places to eat

      It's not everyone's cup of tea, the Ring. If it ain't raining, it's glorious, if it is......<shudders>

      A lot depends on what you're into, and if you're fit etc. Some great hiking there, super watersports. If you're looking for a gargle, then you've not got a lot of options unless you head to Cahirciveen. if you've no car, then good luck to you, make sure you buy plenty of tins in Killarney.

      One place when I lived down that direction that I loved eating in was the Moorings in Portmagee, the opposite side of that skellig penisula. Best fish this side of Howth.
