    Shameless

Series 8 of Shameless starts next week, but what I didn't know is that there's going to be new episode every night next week!

Also, the American version is starting on Sunday night, with William H Macy as Frank

The first episode of the American version was shown a couple of weeks ago. Joan Cusack (who I love) plays the Sheila part

Its gone down a bit in the last few seasons but still is a good show and far better than most of the sh*t on tv these days.

Saw the first episode of the American remake of Shameless last night. If you remember the original pilot, it's basically a shot for shot remake with Chicago replacing Manchester. It's missing the voiceover introduction and ending, and for some reason this version of Frank seems a lot less likeable.

To be fair, the original wasn't particularly likeable for a while either. Article on the remake from The Independent: http://www.independent.co.uk/arts-en...s-2180200.html
