anyone know of any jobs that are available in ireland? i got laid off here in america and want to try a new start in eire. i hold an irish passport and have family in limerick. i have office customer service skills i worked for a car hire company i also have experiance in taking reservations and phone skills i am in new york now but can get to ireland for an interview asap.

You picked the wrong time to come looking for a job. I'd suggest starting with the jobs sites like Monster and RecruitIreland.

I would try the car hire places in Shannon airport. The turnover of staff there is pretty high (although maybe not right now with the economy the way it is and the summer ending) but worth a try.
