I am picking one up today at 3.00 so i want to know everything now !!
Is there a function to stop downloads or cap it when it gets to the monthly limit (if kids pick up the phone and go for new games etc.). Is there a website to review the apps that are available on it.
I'll probably be back with loads more questions soon !!

I was looking at them as well and there isn't much difference between the two, nothing major anyway. It doesn't say what version of Android it uses (Desire is 2.2) but it looks good.I've been lookind at the HTC HD2 on the O2 website but at the moment it's not available on upgrade, it looks fantastic though. I don't suppose anyone has this? The SFAI are the governing body for grassroots football in Ireland, not the FAI. Its success or the lack of is all down to them.Comment

I'm with Meteor, and i think its just changed (at least thats what i was told in the shop)
edit: Just checked, its Firmware Version is 2.1-update1 for HTC Desire A8181
2.2 must be out soon because they were all talk about that in the shop, using it as a selling point.Last edited by A face; 23/08/2010, 4:23 PM.The SFAI are the governing body for grassroots football in Ireland, not the FAI. Its success or the lack of is all down to them.Comment

You should do a check on the handset (Settings > About Phone > System Software Updates), apparently Meteor Desires are stock, so you should be able to get the HTC update without having to wait for the network garbage. The langers in O2 are still fecking about with it, despite the fact that - currently at least - the O2 image just has a splash screen. Jesus help them if they add a load of crap into it.Comment
