Given who's involved, I've been curious. How does it hold up against The Wire?

Haven't seen The Wire, but this show is quality, and I have only seen the First episode.

Its hard to compare them as The Wire is a 5 season show about the drug dealers and police in Baltimore and Generation Kill is a 7 episode mini series about the Iraq invasion.

So all I can tell you is Generation Kill is not as good as the wire but still a top quality show

Watched it first time round on FX - good show.

Just finished the second episode. Glad I started watching this.
