    US Visas

Lads and lassies, just a couple of quick questions, whats the best way to go approaching this? Ive heard of some charity companies sponsoring like a J1 work visa for 6 months or so and then trying from there to get another job etc. My internship years ago was a j1 working internship visa which could have lasted for up 2 years i was told at the time. I always thought it was the h1s that could only last 2 years.

Does anyone have any idea of difficulties/ways of getting a visa? Im giving serious thought to moving out there for a couple of years if i can.

    Marriage is a good one!

I'd say company sponsorship is probably the easiest route, though that can limit your options once you get there, and obviously you have to get a job first to go there.

I don't know, but there have been numerous green card visa schemes for the Irish to travel. Someone on here should know.
That question was less stupid, though you asked it in a profoundly stupid way.

Help me, Arthur Murphy, you're my only hope!
