UFC game on XBox Live

Has anyone downloaded the demo? Its brilliant, Shogun Rua Vs Chuck Liddell, would heavily recommend it to anyone with an interest in either UFC or sports combat games (WWE or Knockout Kings or such)

Game itself is released on 22nd of May, I've got my copy reserved and will be devoting this weekend towards its playing (apart couple of hours break for the rugby of course!)

Never really liked those games, you can talk about tactics all you want but basically it's button bashing with a few pushed iof the sticks thrown in for good meanure. The worst thing about the UFC game is the fact that you can't defend yourself when you're on the ground before KO. That being said the presentation is excellent as are the graphics. Maybe the gameplay for cobat games will finally catch up with the graphics. Fight Night is the only game to break the mould

I had a quick go of it the other day at a mates place and it's pretty impressive, he was killing me though. I'll definitely look into buying it, the styles of fighting seems to work very well.

Yes you can in some situations, depends on the damage inflicted on you before the KO.

I really like the look and gameplay of this game. Never bought a fighting game such as fight night or that because as shefellover said it was basically button bashing. With the different fighting styles within UFC I think this game will be different and looking forward to playing it.

I got mine on monday its pretty good im not into UFC at all its way too homoerotic for my liking but as a combat game this is pretty good. Its much more than a button basher it will take ages to get into it and learn all the moves the only question is will you stick with it long enough to get the full value.

Traded my copy in last weeek, they gave me €22 for it which I put toward buying infamous(which I'm enjoying).
Found the game annoying too many combination to pull off moves, just turned into a button basher. Teken 6 out at the end of October think I wait for that before I get another fighting sim.

Dana White, the head of UFC, has been very outspoken about EA's first MMA offering, reportedly saying that any fighter who appears in the game will be banned from UFC for life and speaking out against EA Sports for doubting the legitimacy of MMA when White pitched the company on a UFC game years ago.
