    Morrissey

Anyone see Morrissey last night in Killarney or headin to see him in Galway tonight? I'm heading to the gig in Omagh on Friday. Was wondering what people thought of the show last night? Was Moz in good form?

He was in excellent form in Killarney the other night, good mix of songs.
Venue was less than half full but the show was super.

    Set list and comments here

...not at any of the gigs. But not a great setlist there from the Killarney one. Still an inordinate amount of Quarry songs in there (for which he may either just have a preference -or proclaim he has a mandate to do them).

But -on th basis of that Killarney setlist, I'm glad I skipped it this time.

Anyone got the sets from any of the other shows? (assuming they're different)

The setlist was much the same at Omagh. It was a very enjoyable gig - the first time I've got to see moz live. The venue seemed to be packed, but I was right up in the front row, so maybe I got the wrong picture. Support band - Doll and the Kicks - were good without being spectacular, and the three of them that I was chatting to afterwards were very nice. The guitarist was telling me that last week he was working full time in a call centre, and now he's supporting Morrissey. What a class turn around.

Waited outside for a bit to meet him, but eventually got thirsty and gave up. I have to console myself with just getting to shake his hand during the gig.

Don't know if they're different or not but they have all gigs reviewed with setlists here.

I saw Morrissey in Galway. This was the 5th time I have seen him but this gig was poor when compared to the rest. The Rock N Roll has gone and has been replace with a showband.

The gig was sold out for 2 months (not too sure what the capacity of Leisureland is but 1500 wouldn't be far off the mark), Unlike all of his previous concerts that I have attended (National Stadium, The Point, Manchester Arena and Black Box Galway) over the last 2 decades, there were no stage divers or crazy fans who with Moz hairstyles and bunches of flowers. Maybe, we are all just getting old.

There were a lot of Smiths songs in the set which didn't happen at any of the previous 4 gigs I attended.

            7 out of 10

Saw him in Belfast, probably 4th or 5th time I've seen him and by far the least impresssive, no interaction with the crowd, which were poor, poor set list, 1 song for the encore and good luck.., not impressed

                  Morrissey collapses on stage

I don't like the look of this at all. During the first song with onlookers saying he looked like he was about to throw up before dropping to his knees. That's his heart. I'm sure of it.

Former Smiths frontman in a 'stable condition' after collapse following opening song in Swindon

That question was less stupid, though you asked it in a profoundly stupid way.

Help me, Arthur Murphy, you're my only hope!
