    This Weeks Albums Playlist

    Not sure if a specific "Albums" thread is required. If there's no interest in it - it will die off of its own accord!

    Happiness in Magazines - Graham Coxon
    Roots and Echoes - The Coral
    Snap - The Best of the Jam

                Definitely good idea, but if we could infuse such with a bit discussion here and there I think it'd be all the better. Like:

                Been listening to that the last few days too. Thought it was a little disappointing to be honest. Decent enough, but nothing special at all I felt?

                My playlist;

                Cerrone - Celebrate!
                Various Artists (produced by Groove Armada) - Late Night Tales: Groove Armada
                DJ Yoda & Dan Greenpeace - Jews Paid Too
                Arctic Monkeys - Covers Mixtape

                  It's not too bad, a decent effort with a couple of really good tunes, but definitely not up the the standard set by Adam Freeland, Krafty Kuts, the Scratch Perverts and the like. But seeing as I have been listening to it quite a bit I thought it only fair to put it in.

                      Been doing a lot of cycling this week so I've mostly been listening to pedal-pumping electro sets rather than albums as such;

                      Etienne de Crécy - Live at Les Ardentes Festival 2007 (I'm not sure if he had these visuals for that set, but you simply must check out the most impressive visuals I've ever seen - would dearly love to see that at mainstage EP!)
                      Adam Freeland - Essential Mix for Radio 1, 1st March 2008
                      Alex Metric - Alex Metric Mix 2008

                      Finally, I got the best album I've heard in absolutely ages last week (because it's so un-fahkin-real more than anything else ). It's hard enough to describe because of it's originality, but generally it's a magical, quirky electro-pop record, with a breaks leaning in places. As an album it flows beautifully, seamlessly moving from track to track, with loads of crackers to get the head bopping and fingers clicking. Oh yeah better give the name: The Young Punx! - Your Music Is Killing Me. Foot.ie Rating: 11/10 - Get it!

                        That would be Kraftwerk's Tour de France on repeat so.

                          In order for Itunes to work on my laptop, I had to delete all my stuff on my ipod and then start uploading it all again onto the laptop. So at the moment I only have a few Bowie albums in rotation.

                            What a great opening track to gaily set me off on a magical mystery tour! I suppose Queen's Bicycle Race would have to be next. Cue "The Ultimate Cycling Playlist" thread?
