Zamosc - Poland

Anyone ever been to Zamosc?
It's near the Ukrainian-Polish border.
Referred to as a World Herritage town.
Seems awkward enough to get to but I love places that are off the beaten track.
Any info would be appreciated.

No, I love seeing places that aren't overrun with culture deficient Paddies, desperate to be drunk abroad.

Plenty people have heard of Zamosc, I just want to know if someone could tell me the best way to get there.

I was looking at photographs of architecture and thought Zamosc looked beautiful. I'd like to visit there just as I did when I discovered how beautiful Tallinn is.

Peader, did you ever go to Zamosc or find out anything more about it?
I'm setting off from Krakow in 2 weeks, going around Poland for a week and then going to Kiev, via Zamosc. From what I've seen and read it seems like a good place to spend a couple of days.

Never heard of the place.

Mind you, Poland is off the beaten track for Paddies as it is. Went to Warsaw last month, and got the usual ten head looks, e.g. "Warsaw, wtf are you going there for?", and "Is it going to be cold?" , in May.
