I mean when they're on the outside. I'm not just on about the celebrity version, it's the whole concept. It's got to a stage where it's getting silly and when people are burning effigies in India and e-mailing threats about the contestants to Channel 4, then people have gone too far.

There will come a time when something bad will happen due to the reaction of people. Whether that's an attack on someone or someone harming themselves I don't know but it's a pressurised situation and concept now.

That happens allready that guy from dublin a few years back got sort of attacked in a limerick club he was makign a guest appearance someone went up and poured a pint over his head , i agree its only a matter of time before someone gets a slap , the amount of dumb people out there is amazing you only have to look at the burning effigies in india as you say or the hullabalu about the mohamed pics in Denmark , where a cartoon led to a nun getting shot in the back .

Do people get outraged a lot easier these days listening to joe duffy every caller starts well jo im outraged about ........

Haven't read the rest of this thread yet, so maybe someone has made this point already, but how do explain comments like,

'she's bleaching her skin because she wants to be white'?

'That's why Indians are so thin because they eat undercooked food'

or Jo mocking Shilpa's accent at every turn? Maybe Jade is just being the fat bitch that she is but the other two have made some very racist comments
