I have read abour Virtual 3D Technology and it's possible applications and it sounds like an amazing emerging technology. Basically it will be possible to be "3D virtually" anywhere in the world via a mobile for instance, so if you have to make a presentation or be at a meeting you can be there virtually. Way better than video conferencing.
Think of the applications, no more need for business travel, etc.(especially with rising fuel costs in the future)
Has anyone else heard of this or know of companies that are developing this technology?
