I have been a good boy this year apart from one or two minor offences, but on the whole Ive been very very good.
I dont want much. I dont want a train set , or a Scalextric , or Subbutteo or even a new stereo. I dont want cd's , a new football or even a computer. I just want you to grant me one wish for the coming year.
Please , please , please , please make England come second in their group, play Germany in the second round and get beat on penalties. Thats all I want this year. As an Irishman living in England the hype and garbage I will have to put up with in the coming year is going to be almost unbearable. God only knows what it will be like if they were to win it. I have promised my other half that if England win we will move to another country and I dont really want to do that but I fear I will have no choice.
So please Santa Im begging you, let me pick up The Sun sometime in June and read the headline.

..and if you could see your way to having a picture of Rio Ferdinand ballooning a penalty over the bar that would be icing on the cake.
