Obv the site is back up and upgraded, obv there's some things that need to be fixed, however I've been at it all day so I'll come back to it tomorrow. Feel free to add to the list here.
Kinda following the Pat’s game on UEFA. Looks to be all Mura?
They had a good spell, couple of great saves from Anyang to keep us in it, but we came back into it. So tense. Heart in mouth stuff at times. If only we were better in front of goal.
Out for a spell, got neglected, lay on the bench unselected.
Makes literally no sense at all. But results like that happen a lot more rarely in other sports. It's one of the great things about football!
It isnt logical and you wouldnt often get one over the bookies. But Sligo built this win on being disciplined, no clangers, and took some chances when they got them. They could sit back and frustrate with injuries, getting the ball back slow for throw ins and other set pieces. The stuff that Ludogorets were doing and frustrating everyone. It really gets under players skins when chasing a game and it kinda forces them in to rushing things. I would not like to be a Motherwell players or coach over the next few days as they will be slaughtered in the Scottish media. Its no disrespect to Sligo, but Motherwell looked like a semi pro LoI side from the 90s.
It might be the heat here but pats look like a team who are so much more comfortable on the ball like containing and holding a 2-0 lead just trying to get to 90 and get out and home quickly. Probably didn't create enough clear chances but still their general play has been so nonchalant
I'm a bloke,I'm an ocker
And I really love your knockers,I'm a labourer by day,
I **** up all me pay,Watching footy on TV,
Just feed me more VB,Just pour my beer,And get my smokes, And go away
Pat's, incidentally, the first LoI side to benefit from the away goals rule being scrapped. (Or I suppose technically they won't quite have benefitted unless they win the shoot-out)

Flip side of that is that it’s nice to see an Irish team look so comfortable on the ball.
Now to penos. The tension.
