I think they're still upset about not being served up an entertainment fest in the friendly with Harps last week. It's not your fault you're no Ballinamallard United.

I'd imagine a Hibs XI would be poor enough.

Coming from you I'll take that as a compliment.

But why even bother mention it here it's not like the little shiites post here or you will get Derry fans defending them? It's just bitter.

Possibly but according to the limerick twitter it was strong enough. I don't know anything about Scottish football to be honest so wouldn't know if it was strong or not.

We seem to be mixing up the team in the two friendlies over with a few unnamed trialists, new signings, last years senior players and under 19's that are now over age for next season. The players that don't play in the match tale part in a high intensity training session.

Hibs went on to score a late winner in a very competitive and even game. The management were delighted with the performance against a very strong Hibernian side.

              The team was as follows

Ryan, Tiffoney, (Triallist), O'Callaghan, Williams, Tracey, Gamble, O'Leary, Bradley, Bossekota, Curran

              Subs:
              Folan, Costelloe, (Triallist), Rainsford, Daly

Remaining squad will take a high intensity training session at Hib's training ground.

That's very close to what will be our starting 11. Maybe 1 or two changes to it.

Why bother replying to it if it's not of much interest?

                            Larne Draw
Stephen Kenny’s team got some more match-time under their belt on Monday night when they drew 1-1 with a Northern Ireland selection mostly comprised of players from the Irish League First Division. Kurtis Byrne (pictured above) was on the mark again as the young striker scored his sixth goal in six pre-season fixtures. The Dundalk team was: Peter Cherrie, John Sullivan, Dane Massey, Andy Boyle, Mark Rossiter, Stephen O’Donnell, Richie Towell, Keith Ward, John Dillon, Patrick Hoban and Kurtis Byrne. Substitutes introduced were Vinny Faherty, Eoghan Osborne, Darren Meenan, Stephen McDonnell, Sami Osobe and Aaron Shanahan.
A detailed run down of how the match progressed can be found on the Oriel Updates website’s twitter service.
