Again bourne you just bring up history constantly, Coachford have been far ahead of grattan the last few years, the batterings they routinely give them are evidence enough of it. Grattan won the league last year FairPlay to them, there’s also the fact the first half of that season Donal wasn’t there with coachford and most of the GAA lads weren’t either, when both teams are full strength they’re a level above, they were on course to absolutely **** both seasons that Covid cut short as wellI think you will find if you can read Kevins previous post .
Kevin paid light to a certain side of the city side being a bit t(h)ick .
Basic maths.
Grattan United have 6 Premier League titles to date .
Coachford have 4 as of now..
Balls , ya want to go again with the maths.
Grattan are like the dortmund to coachfords Bayern, the best of the restComment

I don’t think they took any unwarranted stick to be fair, they bigged themselves up, maybe they thought with all the new signings they would seriously challenge, they’re a decent side nothing more nothing less, but they did put a target on their backs from the posts on here and the social media campaign, if finishing second is a sign of improvement then FairPlay if they can find the silver lining in it but people expected more of them, I still think they’re a soft side when it gets physicalComment

They signed a load of CBL players? Thats hardly putting a target on their back?I don’t think they took any unwarranted stick to be fair, they bigged themselves up, maybe they thought with all the new signings they would seriously challenge, they’re a decent side nothing more nothing less, but they did put a target on their backs from the posts on here and the social media campaign, if finishing second is a sign of improvement then FairPlay if they can find the silver lining in it but people expected more of them, I still think they’re a soft side when it gets physicalComment

Kevin one of those CBL players has Irish caps and goals in the league of Ireland, the other two have numerous appearances at senior level on with cork teams, and all 3 have had very good seasons with the step up, they were good signings for anybody who knew themComment

They put a target on their own back with the Facebook posts of signings IMO. Just keep things quiet and get on with it. I do agree theyre soft in a battle, that could happen again tonight. They actually signed 5 players from the CBL, yes it's improved Village team but not enough to get you over the line. They are still short a CF maybe a CM and a couple of defenders. As for Jamie we all know his is quality, 33 goals overall and 16 league goals having missed 4 games speaks for itself.Comment
