Waterford 0-1 Avondale. Ramblers v Avondale in one of the semis. City or Cobh Wanderers v Limerick in the other.

Limerick won 8-7 on pens after a 3-3 draw, great game. Conor O'Donnell saved a pen from Mark O'Sullivan at end of extra time to take it to a shootout.

It was Billy Dennehy missed that penalty at the death, his brother missed in the shootout.

Avondale beat Cobh 2-1 after extra time tonight. Close enough game but Dale deserved it overall. Not the greatest match. Face Limerick in the final

                    Still thawing out.
Roy Long scored early on and Dale held out until the 84th minute when Rob Waters equalised.
Into extra time then and Ray Lally put Dale ahead again on 94 after Simon Holland was taken down.

Final finally confirmed for Sunday May 10th at 2pm, still no venue though.
It will be in Limerick somewhere.

                        They found a venue.
The Limerick Desmond Football League Grounds, Clounreask, Askeaton, Co.Limerick.
Same spot they beat us on pens earlier in the competition.

From teamsheets Limerick put up on Facebook, Avondale only named two subs.

Edit: 0-0 at half-time, all Limerick from club's Twitter account.

Injury time penalty for Limerick converted by Tracy. 1-0 FT. One success this season anyway.
