Sorry Drummerboy - I had knocked off early yesterday. I haven't heard yet either that's why I was asking.

Re the new Belgrove manager - the players are still in the dark as to whether Tony Doyle is staying or going next season. This uncertainty is already starting to cause problems as my source tells me that a number of their players already have offers from other teams (including John P!!). The transfer merry go round seems to starting earlier and earlier each season!

Tony is going all right. Don't think Belgrove will have any bother replacing any defectors.

Apparently Rocky O'Brien has been given the job as the new Belgrove manager.

Well, I guess I was right all along. Good appointment. Interesting to see who he will bring along with him. Wish him the best of luck.

Just heard that John Gill was interviewed only the other day. But think his hat is in the ring for the Monaghan job.

That is probably the case. Belgrove have their final game to the season in Malahide tomorrow and I suppose a formal announcement will be made to the players then. I am not sure whether a new backroom staff will be installed as well.
