Nonsense. Krul done exactly what he should’ve done if he thought it was more likely to lead to Parrott failing to score. Doesn’t matter if he’s a teenager or not.
Anyway dealing with a keeper playing mind games, missing a penalty all good for him i reckon - character building, a young striker has to experience these things.Comment

Lets not kid ourselves, if Randolf says that he did that to a Slovakian/Bosnian/NI teenager in a few weeks, we'd all be delighted with him.
No way to know if it worked either, it was a pretty well struck penalty, seems like Krul was lucky to choose the right side.Comment

I never like seeing players do that looping run around when taking a penalty - always feel there's a greater chance of an imperfect connection - still, great to see both him and Idah get good minutesComment

Seriously lads, is there really a discussion about the Keeper being mean to the young fella?
Hopefully the fact that he wanted to take a pen will show Jose that he has the right mentality, seasoned pros have hidden in that situation. Other than that Im glad he got more than 1 minute and hopefully he stays a regular on the bench in the next few weeks. Its really not that complicated!!!Comment

Write up on BBC website today. Speculates that he may be involved in the CL game tonight - https://www.bbc.com/sport/football/51720135Comment

Unless he's called up (24 hours before the game) from the B standby squad to the CL A squad, he would not be eligible to play tonight, and AFAIA this has not been done.Write up on BBC website today.
