Only thing is Seamus already has that role locked up.

Could do with some-one, that is great crack ~ ~ I am not sure that Trapatoni ever fully recovered from the Andy Reid debacle !

I get the impression Halgrimsson might understand the Irish psyche better than Trap.

Sure the Icelanders have a lot of Irish blood

Another assist today, this one in the 20th minute of injury time of a 2-0 win over Millwall. Wrexham's keeper Danny Ward was stretchered off in injury time, hence the huge amount of added-on time. McClean started on the bench and came on for the last 15 minutes (plus injury time of course)

Five consecutive unbeaten appearances for McClean now, four of those as a Captain and starter.

Should he be brought in for those crucial Play-Off games coming up? Especially given Coleman and Egan's credit for our recent revival/miraculous recovery?

Might have to if neither Brady or Scales or available. The drop off in that position after that is stark.

He's already stated he's retired. I wouldn't be totally against it but I don't think it's a very progressive move. Having said that, it's about winning two games so if he knows that's the gig and is available and playing well then why not?
