After the maintenance yesterday, my bookmark for the site isn't working, I have it at https://foot.ie/forum but the new home is https://foot.ie/forum.php
Might be causing other people issues too

Something else I've noticed is that some characters are not being displayed correctly, e.g. the copyright symbol in the page footer is showing up as a question mark

Similarly, Séamus Coleman's name in the title of his thread in the Ireland forum: the é isn't displaying correctly.

Unfortunately I had to revert an upgrade I made in the process of moving the site to another VPS, I'll need to have another crack at it this weekend.

For what it's worth, the bug reports are for info, not complaints on my end. This site is a treasure for Irish football, and the work you do to keep it going is very much appreciated.

I just keep getting am 'Encoding errror' over the past couple of days, and cannot access the site at all.

Wasn't able to get to the site at all the last few days, relieved this morning that it worked.

Sorry about that, an old glitch with the session table "filling up", which is just a bizarre error, I'll need to set up a scheduled job to clear it out. I need to retry the failed upgrade, I'll do it when I do that.
