That Snappers fella would have the wrong end of the stick even if the stick somehow only had one end. Viva diversity etc meanwhile via EG, if that’s what Snappers thinks EG brings ... wouldn't term what he brings as diversity myself but we're back to wrong ends of sticks again then in unique Snappers style.

To be fair I don't see that EG did anything wrong here lads. I was messing with him a bit but at least the topic was still all about Dunne, even if there was a bit of silliness involved.

But to show just how, shall we say, inconsistent the moderation is on this site, with certain Mods at least, I composed a post just now explaining the position from my pov, which included clear, objective evidence to back it up and without singling out any individual etc.

And guess what? Yep, it disappeared within seconds.

I didn’t start a thread called Moderation. Please delete the listing on the index page and the subhead (somewhere above) which suggest I did.
I merely called Tets comment harsh and disputed that EL was off topic. Even the removal of an EL post, allegedly containing personal insults, to a non-existent thread fails to elevate this non-drama beyond the rectal probe.

Just because it's a local thread for local people doesn't mean we have to be over-sensitive about the precious things. And Jimmy Dunne is, potentially, a precious thing.
