Site slow?

Is it just me or has the site been very slow for the past hour or so? Might be some thing to do with this maybe:

Currently Active Users: 464 (106 members and 358 guests)

which seems very high (loads more names underneath than usual anyway, for the league announcement presumably) but it's not near the highest number ever.

Yeah it was slow for me as well. Must have been all the users online at the same time, most looking at the same thread too.

I am just back on as got call saying site had gone down. Seems to be a lot of less frequent visitors around...

it was very slow around four o'clock but is back to being some way normal now so it probably was just to do with the farce, sorry announcement ah I'm not going to let this go for a while

The server was down for an hour yesterday, no idea why. Seems to be ok now. Checking it out.

had that too but switched to Safari instead of Mozilla on my mac and was working ok....
