Like Kildare County and Kilkenny City before them, it's disappointing Sporting Fingal have left the League and folded entirely. It's a pity neither club took the route of Cobh Ramblers and look to build a base, building for the future. The A Championship would be all the better for it.

Yeah, definitely .... its a shame that there wasn't a core group of people willing to do this. Its like Dublin city, just folded and they are no more.The SFAI are the governing body for grassroots football in Ireland, not the FAI. Its success or the lack of is all down to them. -
