    Chris Konopka

    Hi lads.

We (Waterford United) signed ye're former keeper Chris Konopka today.
I've read a bit about him and he seems very impressive. However I've never seen him play. What is he like. ?

I like high energy football. A little bit rock and roll. Many finishes instead of waiting for the perfect one.

He's a decent keeper, saved a peno away to longford.

konopka was in the unique position that he was on the subs bench for bohs and fingal in successful cup finals and got two winners medals.. I was impressed with him when he played against us.. Before he came to Fingal Alan Gough could have signed him but we made a boobo and the signing never happened..
Gary Cronin is he the right man to manage Longford Town?
