Well in fairness Rovers even failed at being an evil physical British team which has to sting! With all the green and white in the crowd they should have felt right at home and break their away leg hoodoo....

Now that the dust has settled on the thread, I think the idea I enjoy the most is that Rovers fans are somehow some unambitious, patient lot who would put up with a bad manager for whatever reason.
If I had to find a fault with my fellow hoops it would be that they are completely the opposite. Sure we chased the Messiah himself out of Tallaght.22 leagues and 26 cups and....well....none of you will ever catch up if we're being honest.Comment

Trevor Croly got loads of time! Pat Fenlon was the Rovers equivalent of Ireland bringing back Trap. Very patient genuinely bar rumbles for Bradley at one point to go and bring in Harry Kenny. We all know that it is Dundalk's implosion that kicked of this Rovers spell rather than them being built as unbeatable!Comment

Ah stop. Knives were out for all of those and Kenny very early doors nesta. Croly got a bit extra because we were broke after paying off the other two clowns early. And we still had to pay him as far as I remember.
Your implosion certainly helped but that's football. Your rise involved very little to compete with. Not sure what your last sentence actually means but my favorite part of your implosion is that you still managed to spend twice as much as us even as you fell.
