Shamrock Rovers fans held after rampage in rivals' pub
Why can no one ever accept responsibilty? the old phrase get your own house in order etc springs to mind.
There has to be less blame culture and more responsibility and acceptance.
We've no responsibility to accept for this incident.

The mere fact, however, that such a large group went to such effort to pull off this stunt in the afternoon not long after a derby match in Tallaght sure tells you a lot but if you wish to consider 30, yes, 30 people going across town to thrash a pub a non incident then shame on you.
Nobody says the incident didn't happen, but I don't believe that 20, now 30 people specifically associated with Shamrock Rovers, boarded a "non-existent" bus to target a pub in Dublin 7 on a specific night. The story has a whiff of "SARI-gate" about it to me.

Keep Tallaght Tidy, Throw your rubbish in the Jodi
Not sure your point here. if these "hard men" wanted "a row" i would have thought the LUAS full of Bohs fans offered the oppurtunity ??????? Why the hell take the bus to an empty pub 15 miles away ?
It's the Turbine, what do you expect? Though the fact they are redesigning the paper AGAIN suggests it may be on its last legs, so we won;t have to put up with it from them for much longer
That would be absolutely, absolutely excellent. It's a loathsome rag.
Yeah it is embarrassing, that someone interpreted that as a political symbol, and even more embarrassing that someone agreed with them.
You don't think it's possible to get a bus from Tallaght to Phibsboro at all? Even, say, the 77a to town and walk the 15 minutes to Phibsboro?
Do you think that it's realistic? It isn't physically possible to get a direct public bus between the two grounds, and nobody is going to walk part of the route either.
Are you for real?! If nothing else, you can get the 10 from town to Dalyer. And saying that none of this happened because people won't walk half a mile is bordering on the single most insane thing you have ever come out with. And that's saying something.
I won't be at Tallaght tomorrow I'm afraid. It isn't physically possible to get a direct public bus from where I work to the ground. It'd mean getting the DART into town and the LUAS out to Tallaght. I don't think that's realistic, so I won't be there.

But not from Tallaght, as is the point of the piece.
And saying that none of this happened
It did happen. But were our fans involved, that's the issue. 3 weeks later, and there's no soundproof evidence our fans were involved in that incident.
....bordering on the single most insane thing you.....
