We had only one home game and there was prob about 80 extra people there despite rain and snow making some of worst conditions possible so hopeful that next week if weather more favourable we will see more.

cool. Im interested to see how the locals take to him. It always seems to end in tears with Roddy unfortunately, though i wish Monaghan nothing but success of course.I like high energy football. A little bit rock and roll. Many finishes instead of waiting for the perfect one.Comment

Rumour had it that we were going to be taken over a few years ago by Collins and some developer. I wanted it to happen for the good of the club, and I didn't know much about Collins at the time. Thank God it didn't. Apparently said developer did't have a pot to **** in anyway, but Roddy would have killed the club, and eventually me.Sporting F*ck All!Comment

LTFC, I think there were a few involved then, but luckily for you guys they saw through the smoke and mirrors and ran them out of town. According to the man it was down to the LT secretary asking for a bundle, though this turned out to be nonsense. All I can say with back up is that somebody or some people in the Farney are going to lose their marbles, and shirt. As my other half said (as we watched MNS) - "give it six months". Phew, am glad its in the Farney as that only refers to Carrickmacross and a few townlands/villages around there. You can refer to us as Oriel if you like as it has nothing to do with Gah bullcrap names and more to do with actual history.
Its no big secret that Roddy has had difficulties but I for one am willing to give him a chance and I know am not alone.
If you knew our chairman and our committee you will know that we wont be taken for mugs and you will know that Roddy is the right man for the job for us.Comment

tell me spud how is it possible that we could lose our shirt ,we can either win our games or lose and roddy will stay or go either way it will not make any differencve to the Club unless of course we were like a lot of other clubs hoping to buy success.
