Lads is thsi the same player released by us last season.If so ye have got a quality player there. He was by far our most consitant player last season, certainly raised a few eyebrows when he was let go and a a handfull of useless c!nts kept!!

Great player, definitely would have liked to keep him at the club. Must have fell out with Gill or something as it was him that didn't want to re-sign with the club.
Don't be surprised if you get Smith back at the end of the season too. He is well liked by the fans and always does ok when he plays but for some strange reason Gill doesn't seem to like him.Comment

He played in every game though that he was available!!Remember gill did release him at the end of that infamous season when we where promoted but then resigned him 2 weeks later after finn left for america!
And regaring smyth, he has the worst first touch ever, cnat control it when it first comes to him resulting in a slow down off a counter attack or him losing the ball. Has bundles of pace but also, cant score to save his life. In Kilkenny last season in the nil all draw, he missed 2 sitters right in front of goal, 1 with an open goal, as the keeper was caught in no mans land!!Drogs Who?!?Comment
