Needless to say this is a big big game. For fans who can't make it to the game, for whatever reason, there will be full live audio commentary on Action81.com with Emmet Ryan (me) and Lee Daly, who is well-versed in Spanish Football.

Does anyone have any idea what kind of team Villareal will put out? Im thinking of travelling up from Limerick for It, and would be good to know if they will have many of their big names playing.

I know nothing about their team for sure, but was told by another fan (Aberdonian Stu, I think) that Villareal tend to take friendlies fairly seriously, and have been known to rack up huge scores.

Two parts to this.

1. Villareal have racked up big scores in previous pre-seasons including a 27-0 win over Navate in 2009.
2. The offer for the game has now been changed from some free entry to a discount on all adult tickets which are down from €15 to €10

They only beat Athlone 3-0 last year though, so they don't seem to be up to much really. Here's the teams from when they beat Bray 5-0 the same week.

Just found their squad list on their website for their training camp. Will definately be making the trip up.
