    FAI Cup

When is the draw on for our entry into the cup and what are the chances of this game not taking place on June 12th, the day a certain UCD fan takes the plunge into married life!

The third round draw will be after Sunday 24th May which is the weekend of the second round.

An away against a non-league side may bring a Sunday 14th fixture date. Depending on the non-league side and their negotiating skills a home draw against a non-league side may also bring Sunday 14th June. LoI sides like Athlone Town, Waterford Utd and Sligo Rvs play Saturdays.

He could cheer on the UCD Intermediaites who have a second rd. home tie against Arklow Town and if UCD go through that will double his chances of watching a UCD FAI Cup game.

    How is everybody?

          Home to Arklow. Nice.

We would have been playing Shamrock Rovers at home if our LSL team had won. At least there's some positive from that loss anyway.

Did you account for the fact that all teams would have been down one number, as UCD would have replaced Arklow?

That would have made us at home to Shels.

Also, Arklow's keeper is presumably suspended after being sent off against us!

              That's right.
UCD(LoI) versus Shamrcock Rovers (rather than Tralee Dynamoes v. Salthill Devon)
UCD (LSL) versus Athlone Town 30 v. 1

Hopefully we'll get a similar crowd to the UCD Intermediates game on Sunday.

A replay means a trip to the seaside aswell, that can't be bad.

Yeah, I did. We'd have been 29 instead, which was drawn at home against 24.

I'd say it will be much more. More UCD fans will be there obviously and I heard that Arklow were unable to bring any sort of a crowd because of some big match in Wicklow.

Ah right. So who would the inters have got? (I misunderstood your "positive" aspect of avoiding Rovers. )

I assume you ignored the chaos theory effect of the different names being typed onto the sheet.

They would have got Athlone, as Harpo has said. Home draw too.

Oh right. That's kind of the opposite I would have liked (money draw for the LSL, winnable draw for us).

                      I don't see Harpo's posts.
